Stephen Labey - Jersey

I am a Jerseyman born and bred who was educated at Victoria College and started farming at the age of seventeen. I am following in the footsteps of several generations of farmers in my family. Labey Farms Ltd is currently run by myself and my wife Vicky. Vicky runs Labey Equestrian Ltd, a livery yard for up to fourteen horses. We have a son, James who is seven years old, and is already showing a keen interest in Jersey's potato industry and love to help me at the weekends and school holidays.

Our local environment is important to us and wherever possible we try to protect it. Currently we have barn owl nesting boxes on our land and are always willing to support other conservation projects.

The 2010 season will be our third supplying our world famous Jersey Royals to Albert Bartlett. We have 100 hectares of Jersey Royals growing in the west of the Island. Back to Farmers
