Meet the farmers

Iain and Alan Sim

We have been supplying Albert Bartlett & Sons with potatoes since 2007. We grow Rooster, Osprey, Maris Piper, Saxon and Harmony for the company. In addition to potato production, wheat, barley and oil seed rape are grown on our farms in Arbroath and Brechin.

We have also operated a contract farming business for the last 20 years.

We manage a rural stewardship scheme to encourage wildlife and enhance the natural environment. Wild bird strips and wild rush pasture along with an extensive area of uncultivated land ensure that a wide range of indigenous species thrive on the farms. Livestock is limited to a small herd of Luing cattle. Back to Farmers
