Meet the farmers

Eddie Gauld

We farm in North Aberdeenshire and Banffshire and have been supplying Bartlett's with potatoes for the past 13 years.We grow many varieties for the company including King Edwards, Maris Piper, Osprey, Cultra and their well known Rooster variety. Up here we do not grow anything else, just simply potatoes!

However, we do like to encourage all sorts of wildlife in our area. The creation of ponds, new hedges, beetle banks and un-cropped headland has increased the population of different species of ducks, water-hens, butterflies and bumblebees.

Aside from farming activities I enjoy following all local youth teams and my son, Stephen, plays in the Highland League for Deveronvale Football Club. Back to Farmers
