Meet the farmers

Adolph Larose

I am the third generation of our family business to farm from Maison De Grantez in the western parish of St Ouen.

I still maintain many of the traditional farming methods passed on from generation to generation which includes spreading seaweed (known locally as Vraic) to each of the fields by rotation.

I am involved in replanting trees and privet hedgerows to shelter many of the fields

I also have a close relationship with a local beekeeper that has a number of hives on my farm. Back to Farmers
