RUSSET POTATO
Innovator is an American Style Russet.
Nothing tastes quite like the French fries in Florida? Not any more.
Albert Bartlett's new American style Russet Potatoes put US diner chips on the UK dinner plate.
Our Russet is the first potato to be grown over here, to cook like the spuds over there. Just like its all-American cousins, it has a creamy light yellow flesh that's drier than most of its British rivals.
It keeps fries firm yet fluffy when cooked and makes them turn a deliciious golden brown. Pick up a bag this week and you'll have chips with style. American style that is.
SCOTTY
Kestrel potatoes are distinguished by their beautiful blue eyes and cream coloured skin. It has a long oval shape and a very smooth creamy texture.
It has a dry matter of about 17 - 18% with a firm, semi waxy texture. It is a second early crop and was originally grown in 1992.
Due to their great shape and creamy texture they are exceptional for boiling, baking and roasting.
In October 2010 Albert Bartlett launched 'Scotty' Brand using Kestrel potatoes.

ROOSTER POTATO
As well as being Ireland's most popular potato, the Rooster is now a runaway best seller in mainland Britain.
It is easily distinguishable by its red skin and shallow eyes. It has a floury yellow flesh which has unique all rounder properties. It is an amazingly versatile potato which is perfect for boiling, mashing, steaming and baking. Our packaging features recipes specially created by two of Britain's very few '2 Michelin Star' winning chefs.
The Albert Bartlett Rooster potato has received many prestigious awards including 'Best Fruit or Vegetable Product' at the Scottish Food and Drink Excellence awards. Albert Bartlett has also earned acclaim for its innovative marketing of the Rooster potato and won the Re:Fresh Pr3 Marketing Campaign of the Year in 2010.
The Rooster potato is also available as an organic option in several stores.
PURPLE MAJESTY
Albert Bartlett Purple Majesty potatoes have a natural deep purple colour inside and out, which is retained on cooking and processing. They taste as delicious as conventional potatoes. They perform beautifully in the kitchen, mashing, baking, roasting and microwaving to perfection, and make spectacular chips and crisps.
Naturally purple:
Potatoes originate in the high reaches of the Andes. There are thousands of naturally occurring varieties of potatoes with many having developed deep red and purple colours. Purple Majesty is a naturally occurring variation crossed from these original potatoes.
Available at Sainsbury's.
APACHE
The Apache has a very striking appearance. It has a warm red skin dotted with cream coloured patches. It is small and round in shape with a slightly waxy texture.
Scrubbed and cooked whole it makes a delicious change from the conventional 'peeled and cut' roast potatoes.
These contrasting colours stay bright if blanched first before roasting whole in their skins and you are rewarded with an excellent, almost sweet, buttery, chestnut flavour.
